About the Peavey PC1600x
The Peavey PC1600x Midi faderboard is a very usefull device to controll your lights. Below you will find several programming examples used for various types of performances.

The Peavey has 16 faders, 16 buttons, 2 footswitch connections and a big wheel, which can be assigned to any midi command (in Hex). Let's just throw in some examples.

Cuelists under a fader
This is one very usefull combination with the fader and button below. The button can be assigned to 'send fader', this way you can set the fader to the desired value first (looking at the lcd-screen on the board) and then press the button to send the midicommand with that value. In this example we will controll cuelists 100 to 115 in layer A with fader 1. Let's first prepare the lanbox:
  • "explanation"
  • Create cuelists 100 to 115 (See tutorial on how to create cuelists). There is no need to load any cuelist in layer A, we will do that with the PC1600x.

Now that we have midichannel 1 set to Layer A and have theh cuelists created we can program the PC1600x:

  • Button
  • Fader
